How was your month? Mine was very interesting.... plus it's a pretty intense season in my life and there were whole lot of lessons. There is also such a sweet and deeper intimacy me and the Jesus are having, and it's growing daily and oh gosh there is just so much I am feeling right now! I love Him!!! Anyway, so some of the month highlights include ... getting to hang with the family !! My mother, aunties and uncles were in town for my sisters wedding which was so lovely and now I have me a new brother!! He is an amazing guy and I am so excited for my sister and what the Lord has done and is doing in their lives! Also my bible study class Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) came to the end of the study of the book of Revelation and there were quite a number of back to back activities towards the end. God has really used the season of BSF as well as the indepth study of the book itself to give me such a beautiful perspective of Him and the entire Bible and filled me up with even more Hope and confidence in Him my Lord and Saviour Jesus ! It was a first for me and a whole lot of people to study Revelation and it is not the scary dreadful book we all wrongly thought it was! It is an amazing hopeful book! BSF resumes in September for the study of the book of John which I am already looking forward to as much as I am so glad for the break! Let's see what else, uuhhmmm oh yea, the past week I fell really ill with symptoms of pneumonia but God has healed me pretty fast! I am so grateful! Isn't it interesting how after being healthy a very long time, even a brief sickness period can give you a deeper level of appreciation for good health and give you even more compassion for those who are not able to enjoy this ! And just really have you realize how fragile the human person and life is! Truly truly, only God can be God and not any form of technology advancement or other human or even myself! My life (our lives) and everything that it is is truly only in the omniscient God's hands, that's simply the safest it can and ever will ever be.
So this month I am excited to have a guest !! I love love love how the Lord lead me to Heather Lindsey's ministry before I gave Him my life and how He continues to use it and her as an example to teach me His truths! I'll be sharing this month's Pinky Promise study ; on what your motivation - for anything and everything in your life ought to be! It is a really powerful message and I pray it sinks deep into your spirit and transforms your life and living perspective and helps you get on or keep you in the right focus - we find out true strength and motivation in Jesus Christ ! Don't waste your life pursuing all these empty things when Jesus is right where you are saying " I AM all you need! I will fill you up and I will make you whole. I will heal your broken heart, I will heal your mind from being hurt over and over again. I will teach you my ways and my word. I will give you wisdom where you lack it. My child, come and sit at my feet, let me give you wisdom, let me tell you my secrets, let me show you my heart, but I can't share my heart with a stranger, do you know me? "
You see, your life is much greater than your job. It's bigger than your car. It's bigger than you appearing successful to the people around you…. It's bigger than "keeping up with the Joneses." It's bigger than you feeling good about you. It's bigger than what you think. God created you and placed you in your mother’s womb with PURPOSE. EVEN if you don't feel like you have one. If you woke up this morning, God is going to use TODAY to prepare you for those things HE called you to do. In this life WE will never arrive so don't get caught up in this silly world & it's ideas. Don't hang out with messy people that bring you down.
